Made his debut in 1980 as a 10 year old boy. Back then spinning Hits, later from New-Wave, through House and Techno to Eclectic Funk, Afro and Nu-jazz. He has also played West-African percussion for years, which has influenced him greatly, especially by the many variations in rhythm and disciplines. Alex Montoya
Founder of 'Downbeat Metro' and absolutely a vinyl freak. Black music is his passion; from Reggae and Funk to Afro-Latin and Club.
He has performed in clubs like Roxy and Paradiso, as well as abroad.
The Soulslammer
Already made reputation as Frank-E, regular DJ at the 'Paard' in The Hague. He rocked 'Lowlands'. He is the godfather of the 'Grooveyard', mister Rare Grooves. His Funk parties became famous under the name 'The Funk Syndicate'. As the 'Soulslammer' he goes back to his roots.
Boris Deluxe
Sax player with the Dutch band Splendid and now permanently attached to Tabass-Co. He poures his spicy hot "Special Sax Sauce" over the tunes dished up by the DJ's.
